Who we are?

A lot of people who call us say they thought we were the 'other' hotel. Others call to say that they thought that Harrison Hot Springs was nothing more than just one big hotel and some ancient hot springs bubbling up out of the ground. We think this would be a good time to clear up both those misconceptions.

Where we are . . .

Truth is, the village of Harrison Hot Springs is situated on the south shore of Harrison lake. Had no hot springs ever been found here we probably would have been named Harrison Lake. Harrison lake which by far is the most dominant feature of the area is 75 kilometers ( 60 mi.) and is the largest fresh water lake in southern BC. It is glacier fed from the north and home to seal, eagles and sturgeon to name a few. One of the natural hot springs comes up out of the ground at the south end of the lake and is where the original 40 room St. Alice Hotel was built in the 1800's, subsequently becoming the Harrison Resort and Spa. These waters are also fed into the large public pool for all to enjoy. (note: many of our packages include free passes to these waters)

Surrounded by some of the most picturesque snow covered mountains in one of the most serene places in the Fraser Valley, Harrison Hot Springs has been an internationally favorite destination for seeing the majesties of British Columbia.

Who we are . . .

We are the Executive Hotel in Harrison Hot Springs. As can be seen on the top left of every page, we are a proud member of The Executive Hotel & Resorts chain with locations throughout Canada and the US. We are a proud member of this wonderful resort community and wholly support our towns festivities such as the world renowned International Sand Sculpture Tournament and the incredible Harrison Festival of the Arts. Truth is, Harrison Hot Springs has many great places to stay, visit and explore.

We are the 'other' hotel if you want quick easy access to the beach. The lakeside roads. The local shops. The neighborhoods. Your car. Restaurants. The Hot Springs Public Pool. The post office? It's across the street!

With all that being said, we just may be the 'other' hotel.

We are the 'other' hotel if you're looking for no pretensions. We don't require you to wear a coat and tie to dinner or while you're dancing. But hey, you can if you want to.

We are the 'other' hotel that's personal. Warm. Friendly.

As with all the local businesses, we want you to enjoy yourself here. It's the nature of things. But honestly in this case it really is apples and oranges. Sometimes you may like constant attention. Sometimes not. Sometimes you want it hot. Sometimes cold. Some like the big box stores. Some like the boutiques. Whatever the case, we wish all your stays in Harrison to continue to be pleasurable and we wish to thank you for choosing to stay with us.
